SLAC has many resources and opportunities to help your chapter.
Career Prep Day
Since 1998, SLAC has held a Career Preparation Day on the campus of Washington University on the first Saturday in November. This event is targeted to chapters in Gateway Region, but if space is available, we try to invite others.
Each student received a one-on-one mock interview with an alumnus who works in the student's field of interest, a resume critique, participation in a career panel question and answer session and a series of seminars.
Many students also have an opportunity to receive extra interview practice with a panel of 3 alumni professionals.
The cost for the event is completely underwritten by SLAC. Each student is asked to bring a new or used article of clothing as an entry fee. For more information email careerprep “at” dspstl.org.
